David Crane

David Crane, founder of lobbying firm Quadripoint Strategies, served under a number of prominent Republican politicians before joining the private sector. He has served as Senior Policy Advisor to both Sen. Tent Lott (R-MS) and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), legislative director for Sen. Daniel Coats (R-IN), and opposition researcher for the National Republican Senatorial Committee under Chairman Sen. Phil Gramm (R-TX).[1] As a lobbyist, he has held senior positions at Global USA and The Washington Group. He also was executive director of Communities for Economic Strength through Aviation (CESTA), a coalition of major airlines and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that aimed unsuccessfully at passing legislation sponsored in 2002 by McCain that would have imposed binding arbitration on airline labor disputes.[2] Recent clients include Bank of America, the Chamber of Commerce, Baby Einstein, Freddie Mac and eTrade.[3] He serves as a senior domestic policy advisor for McCain's presidential campaign.[4]
